ICCBAA Forum 25

On the advent of its 25th Anniversary, the Board of Directors of ICCBBA organized an ‘invitation only’ international forum on Medical Products of Human Origin (MPHO). The Forum was held in Lisbon, Portugal, 18th-20th September, and brought together delegates from more than 30 organizations and societies active in the entire range of MPHO, including representatives of health organizations, regulators, and professional societies. Discussed topics included common themes related to traceability, regulatory boundaries, ethics, biovigilance and healthcare technologies. The outcome of the Forum will be a report that will identify practical steps that can be taken towards harmonization and forwarding the guiding principles identified by the WHO.
