European Commission publishes the Evaluation of the EU legislation on blood, tissues and cells

Launched during the Conference On The Evaluation of The EU Legislation on Blood, Tissues And Cells, held on 28 October 2019 in Bruxels, Belgium, the work brings to light the results of an evaluation carried out to provide a comprehensive assessment on the European Union legislation on blood, tissues and cells – the two basic Acts (Directives 2002/98/EC on blood and Directive 2004/23/EC on tissues and cells) as well as their implementing Directives in all EU Member States from the date of their entry into force until the end of April 2019.
