WUTBA is now an incorporated association

As of 3rd of February 2020, WUTBA is now recognised as the World Union of Tissue Banking Associations Incorporated. This follows a process to establish WUTBA as a not-for-profit organisation operating from within the state of Victoria, Australia. The incorporation provides WUTBA with an additional layer of transparency as far as governance and financial handlings. From this date onwards, WUTBA must comply with the Victorian Act that supervises similar organisations. The Secretary of WUTBA (or its Australian assignee when the elected secretary is not Australian) is accountable to the VCAT (Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal) to ensure WUTBA voted rules are implemented and followed.
